Federal Judge Signs Order To Ban SLIPKNOT From Selling Their Own Merchandise
April 1, 2004Palm Beach Post is reporting that a federal judge signed an order temporarily banning SLIPKNOT from selling their own hats and T-shirts.
The nine-piece band was sued by the Signature Network after the company showed up at the Jagermeister Music Tour in Orlando Tuesday (March 30) to sell the band's merchandise — only to be removed the premises, according to the lawsuit. SLIPKNOT, instead, were selling the merchandise through their own company.
On Wednesday (March 31),U.S. District Judge Kenneth Ryskamp signed an order prohibiting the band from selling its own merchandise until an April 10 hearing. But the order hadn't been served in time for the band's show at the Sound Advice Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida Wednesday night, according to the Palm Beach Post.
SLIPKNOT will perform at Birmingham, Alabama's Sloss Furnace 20 venue on Friday (April 2).
